Here’s a walking tour that’s not for the tourists. Partly because it takes place at midnight, partly because it’s part of the Whitechapel Gallery’s excellent-looking (but hardly mainstream) Nocturnal Animals Festival and mainly because it involves “unearthing traces of mostly-unseen infrastructure…. defunct systems that persist, and…. intangible networks, all of which invisibly define our lives.” Brining together performance, video, sculpture, sound and a side of The City that most never see, this is the oddest way to spend your Saturday night this week.
