Hot diggety dog! Is this the takeover of all takeovers? Bubbledogs’ Co-Founder Sandia Chang and Chick ‘n’ Sours Founder Carl Clarke are swapping aprons, and restaurants this summer. For one night only, they’ll try their hand at each other’s signature dishes to see who has more bite – bark or beak? Carl kicks it off at Bubbledogs this Wednesday where he’ll be whipping up two special hot dogs – the Chengdu Chilli Dog topped with kimcheese and the Thai Dog with fermented som tum and crispy crack noodles. The hot dogs will be in good company with tasty sides including tenderstem broccoli, Tater tots and Smacked cucumber with chilli. And of course there will be bubbles, with a carefully curated list of grower Champagnes from Sandia. Go have a peck.
