It’s that time of year. Everywhere is awash with red and pink. You can’t move an inch without displays of something saccharine covered in hearts. If we see one more red rose winking at us in the supermarket….

However, what if there is another way to celebrate the festival d’amour? One where you can put on your finest attire, slip on your sexiest mask and spend the night dancing away? The Dark Side of Love Valentine’s Masked Ball requests that you surrender yourself to obsession, yearning, infatuation and pasión fatal surrounded by a host of eccentric and exotic performers that will pull you deeper and darker into a night of debauchery.

Spread over four floors of Soho’s Century Club, the evening will include music by New Orleans Brass group Temple Funk Collective and Argentinian Tango band La Poderosa. Burlesque Bombshell Dinah-Might and dominatrix Mistress Beatrix will be joined by acrobatic duo Bitter & Twisted and Crimson Word will be bringing along an immersive poetry experience.

Now, how about you give cupid the slip this Saturday?
