London is a city full of stories. In this new play at the delectable Wilton’s Music Hall, Olivier Award-winning playwright James Graham recreates Charles Dickens’ Sketches by Boz for the modern age, in a uniquely crowd sourced production. Taking place over twenty four hours in our busy capital city, stories overlap and lives are explored, with scenes by eight emerging writers being incorporated into Graham’s own sweeping narrative. Aaron Douglas, Chloe Mi Lin Ewart, Alan Gordon, Adam Hughes, Ella Langley, Himanshu Ojha, Sumerah Srivastav and Naomi Westerman have all collaborated on the final script. Storytelling, cabaret and live music will all combine to create a delicious and engaging aesthetic that engages the audience and draws them into the lives of the city.
