Name a more iconic venue than London’s Ally Pally. We’ll wait.
Nestled at the top of a Muswell Hill in North London, Alexandra Palace has been a centre for arts and entertainment for over a century. It’s burnt down, it’s been rebuilt; it’s fallen into disrepair, it’s returned stronger than ever. And now The People’s Palace has its very own festival one dayer.
Billed as Kaleidoscope, this inaugural music and arts fest looks like an event that’s more than worthy of its incredible surroundings. With music from The Flaming Lips, poetry from John Cooper Clarke and beats from the 2 Bears it’s sure to be a Saturday to remember.
Just don’t forget to set aside some selfie time with those iconic views.
