We all know the experience – a song comes on the radio and we’re immediately transported back to when we first heard it, churning up memories that we’ve not thought about for years. Music and memory are intrinsically linked. The Wellcome Collection is delving deep into that connection, bringing in musicians, conductors and academics for a series of concerts and talks that “explore the implications of music’s unique capacity to be remembered.” Details are pretty sparse but will Wellcome and Radio 3 involved, this should be a cracker.
