Last week we featured a Cockney singalong, this week it’s a pie ‘n’ mash festival. London’s only real culinary invention (barring the Scotch egg, fact fans) doesn’t usually get celebrated the way we do with foreign cuisine so this feels like a first. A ton of the city’s best P ‘n’ M merchants will be there, along with cockle and whelk stalls, craft beers and of course London gin. Just in case you hadn’t cottoned on to the Cockney theme there will also be piano sing-alongs, rhyming slang battles and an Only Fools and Horses Pub Quiz. Very corny but very tasty. We’ll be there.
