The World Cup has finally arrived! Time to gather in large groups in front of larger tellys and slosh lager down our throats, all in the name of sport. Tradition would dictate that this normally involve a visit to the pub – but London being London, there’s an alternative route to take.

Budweiser, the beer company that has taken full advantage of the USA’s increasing interest in the sport, has arranged it so that we can watch the footy on a bloomin’ boat on the Thames. The Bud Boat is a full 6-hour experience, kicking off with a cruise down the river approximately 2 hours before kick-off (with drinks), then the match, moored up, before another cruise soundtracked, on multiple levels, by DJs. Of course, if your team loses, you may want to forgoe that post-match party sail, and no one will judge you for it.

Click here for a list of matches that will be given the Bud Boat treatment, and to buy your tickets.
