Yoganesh

I was delighted to see this little yoga studio open up in Bethnal Green. Namely because it's located next to my gym, where yoga is limited to a brightly lit, stinky, sweaty, packed leisure centre studio with only two acceptable classes on the roster. When I visited Yoganesh (Sunday 2pm), I was greeted by Antonia, a lovely American-British type of lady who had just returned from an extended period in sunny California (that's some yogi street cred thurr). Antonia confidently guided me through her relaxed yet challenging Vinyasa class. The space is tiny, but welcoming. (In fact, I wish I was there right now, as opposed to stuffing my face with Chicken Kickers dipped in garlic-mayo slime from Dominoes in an East End basement). Some classes are donation based, (to make yoga more accessible) which means you can do a great class for about a fiver and still have enough to pop next door for a nice coffee afterwards. / Chloe McCloskey
