We love how Hoxton hangs back, all cool behind Shoreditch doing its own thing. And we love how 100 Hoxton has moved in all nonchalantly, bringing with it the charm of sister venue Zilouf’s but design and atmosphere suited to the East End. Food is diverse with undeniable hints at chefs Tim Yates and Francis Puyat’s tenure with the Ottolenghi empire. Shareable small plates come ‘Out of the Garden’, ‘On the Land’ and ‘From the Sea’. We devoured the burnt eggplant salad, slow roasted pork and lamb kofte with its punchy panch puran flavourings. Cocktails washed it all down smoothly – particular shout-outs go to the signature 100 Hoxton and Jamaican Me Oriental blends. Whether it’s brunch, lunch, drinks or dinner, you’ll fit right in in this bright and welcoming garage-like space.
