Poké is like sushi, but in a bowl, in this case topped with rice or quinoa, fresh and pickled vegetables – kale if all this isn’t wholesome enough for you. The raw fish is marinated in something delicious, but unlike Ceviche hasn’t been cured in lemon or lime. The dish comes from Hawaii and was traditionally a snack that the island’s fishermen used to make for themselves – it’s alright for some. This tastes wonderfully fresh, full of umami flavours and beautifully presented. Good for lunch, not necessarily somewhere to linger, although there are a couple of seats outside that are great for people watching – grab those if they’re free! You can also get all the bowls delivered.
