They say that good things come to those who wait. This is certainly true of the new chop restaurant in Soho – Blacklock. There’s a bit of a wait for a table, but my goodness is it worth it! Of course it is. It is worth it, seriously worth it. The format is basic, they serve meat sourced from a single family farm in Cornwall cooked over charcoal, and with it a choice of sides. We went all-in; a ￡20pp feast of every type of meat available with starters and sides. I would list cuts but that would ruin the surprise, besides they change constantly… Suffice to say that the whole lot was delicious and we were not left hungry. If you’re a fan of meat this place is a must, if not… well… the cocktails are still very good!
