With walls clad in the Bermondsey-based roasters own South American blends, great bits on the menu and featuring an extraordinary back garden, Coleman Coffee Roasters is our ultimate spot for a slow Sunday morning. Only a few minutes from the rush-hour horrors of Waterloo, it resides on a street that has remained unscathed by time, hosting a unique assortment of cafes, bars and shops which make us return time and time again. Returning to Lower Marsh is inevitable but Coleman definitely responsible for the more frequent visits. It is a glorious Wi-Fi free haven which obnoxiously closes at 3pm every day, featuring perfect window seats for people-watching and an opportunity to hide away in the lush greenery of the secluded back yard. This is where to stay for brunch, a good read and a buzzing amount of great coffees. When 3pm sadly rolls around you’ll be ready to wander across the street to another Lower Marsh must, Cable Café, and top off your buzz with a drink or three.
