How Much?

We know Dalston is a fantastic – oft frenetic – haven for food, drink and consequential fun. But, while menus trace all corners of the globe, from Turkey to Mexico to the Caribbean and back to Turkey, one little corner seems to always have been missing. And now, as an almost freaky response to our subconcious cravings, Brett Redman – hands and eyes behind The Richmond and Borough Market’s Elliot’s Café  – has opened yakitori joint Jidori. The 40-seater plates up traditional Japanese cuisine revolving around the imported Kama-Asa Shoten grill. Combined with contemporary starters plus rice dishes, the oriental flavours also heavily influence the drinks menu. Sakes all ‘round!
