How Much?

Delicate croissants. Jitter inducing coffee. A quiet background hum of chatter and jazz. I’m always on the look out for the ideal spot to park up the laptop and undertake a spot of freelance work, and L’Atelier lists all of the above. Including a vast supply of plugs. Yes, you heard correctly. This vital inclusion loses many the perfect cafe the title of ‘great place to work’ and sockets run amok here. Combine this with a charming interior, delightful cakes and unlimited opportunities to eavesdrop on hipster conversations and you’ve got the ideal spot to get down to your heartiest creative endeavours. I tend to become quite evangelical about new discoveries, turning quickly into a regular until my fickle eye has found some place new. Until then, here you’ll find me. Plugged up. Coffee and croissant in hand. Earwigging to the conversation next to me. / SJ Boyd
