Around a fiver

You don’t have to be MADD for mango to visit here, but it helps. This new haven for mango lovers, and those that love to wile away their time playing the assortment of games (I ‘appened to give a bird from Manchester a good spanking at Connect 4 while here), is dream territory for a fella like me. The mango bowl with freshly sliced fruit swimming in oceans of iced mango juice is a healthy option; only slightly more indulgent is the crumble with its fruity, crunchy layers. Get romantic with an intimate sharing plate including panna cotta, fruit and sticky rice pudding, before you go and destroy all amorous possibilities by competitively losing your temper in the subsequent board game. Perfect for an after-dinner dessert, well deserving of a visit in its own right and like that bloke once said: “If you’re tired of mango, then you’re tired of life you motherfucker.” / Eamon Downes
