Perfectly pillowy. Sumptuously squishy. Move over pho craze because milky steamed buns straight outta Vietnam are moonlighting as the 2016 burger. A hybrid of sorts, expect a delicious 28-day dry aged beef patty served between two light fluffy buns (or ‘baos’, for those well travelled). An offshoot of Viet Eat (Holborn), the sweet Shaftesbury Avenue spot continues to revolutionise the Vietnamese street food market one less pho at a time. But never fear, it’s all in the name. The west-end site also serves pho. Nothing beats the rare sirloin beef pho.
