Richard and Andy at Randy’s (it’s a name thing not a sexual thing) wing bar are the best wingmen in the business. If you went to war with them a la Top Gun, they would obliterate your enemies before you had even seen them in your rear view. If you were to go out on the pull with them, you would wake up next to Natalie Portman.

But if you want to stick to the food, head out to their new restaurant in the currently semi-barren Olympic Park: It’s worth the journey. They will serve you some of the best, most flavoursome wings you’ve ever eaten. The old favourite ‘buffalo’ gets top billing with good reason. The wings are covered in homemade, perfect-level-of-spice spin on the classic sauce, and drizzled with truffled blue cheese. They’re spectacular, and they’re not even the best wings on the menu. That lofty title is reserved for the Korean-inspired ‘Gangnam’ with sticky sweet and sour sauce and covered in crushed-up peanuts. You can keep the napkins, I want this sauce to seep into my pores, burrow its way into my bloodstream and flow through my entire being.
