I have a sneaking suspicion that eminent restaurateurs, Adam White and Clive Watson may just have outdone themselves again with The Riding House Cafe. Perched prettily in Fitzrovia, the sprawling brasserie is pitch perfect stylish deliciousness. While the wonderful service, cocktails and peculiar squirrel light fittings were points of admiration; our lunch was in a league of its own. We opted for lots of small plates and kissed food envy goodbye. The tender pork belly and super crispy crackling were like pieces of edible love and the oniony steak tartar was so succulent it was almost buttery. We were taken with the fresh flavours and textures of the seabass ceviche and honeyed roast butternut squash but fell head over heels for the smoky lamb cutlets and the mischievous hot fudge macaroon sundae. It was so good I’m a regular already. / Rosa Kaftan
