Leading vegetarian pioneers Tibits have opened their second London spot on Southwark Street. Starting in Switzerland 17 years ago by brothers Reto, Christian and Daniel Frei, Tibits is seeking to shake up the London dining scene. The 40 dishes on the menu are displayed on a “food boat” centrepiece for you to peruse and choose. Grab a plate, load it up with as much or as little as you like, then take it to the counter where you pay for it by weight. The seasonal and global menu varies from nourishing stews, curries and healthy salads to naughtier pastry-based options such as fried jalapeños with sour cream and exquisite veggie sausage rolls.
