I was in Old street for a bit last week; long enough to get hungry, but the place I wanted to go to was shut. I didn’t take this news very well and decided to sulk instead of finding dinner elsewhere. Or so I thought. On my way back I managed to lift my field of vision enough from my own personal fug of self pity and sense of worldly injustice to see a Yum Bun where there was no Yum Bun before. And suddenly, just like that, I was feeling better. MAGIC. Well, magic and a bento box of two steamed buns (one with filled with belly pork and the other with fish), two gyoza, a tiny bit of deceptively tasty salad-thing, a dollop of the hot Sriracha, the one that gives me hiccups on contact and a soup tub of ice tea.
