With continual mental health issues within the music industry, $AU$AGE$ and their good friends Roman, Drool, Barry and David Shirley are putting on a night of musical entertainment, with all profits going to the charity Mind.
Headliners $AU$AGE$ are a fast paced four piece with influences from post-punk, art rock to brit pop (and as the name suggests they don’t take anything too seriously). Roman is a technicolour creature formed in New York city who will make you dance, Drool are an evocative London alt-rock outfit who mix 80’s alt-rock with 60’s melodic structures and Barry are a consciousness raising Queer beat combo.
Throughout the night artist David Shrigley, best known for his distinctive drawing style and sculpture on Trafalgar Square’s Fourth Plinth, will be on the decks treating you to an eclectic set. You can also grab one of the limited edition posters and T-shirts he’s created for the night.
So get dancing and donating and kick off your bank holiday with a bang.
