Beer is a global thing, and that’s a good thing. While the culture surrounding beer, its flavours and even glasses may vary around the world – the humble beermat offers a cheap and common canvas, and there’s nothing like a refreshing brew to kick-start the creative process.That’s why Inkygoodness asked more than 80 international artists and illustrators to create entirely original characters from the often overlooked pieces of card. Their artwork is now being showcased in central London, and explores all sorts of re-imaginations, from handmade to digital, from paper-cut outs to 3D sculptures, and much more that might leave you surprised. Pop along to soak up the inspiration, the music, and of course, have a drink! Just remember not to leave your glass on any of the artwork.
