Traveling the globe as one of the world’s biggest dance acts for 15 years would be an eye-opening experience. As part of Groove Armada, Andy Cato has had a front row seat for the ever-twisting narrative of dance music, witnessing its evolution from 90s rave culture through to the proliferation of today’s sub-sub-genres such as Post-Dubstep and Moombahcore (no joke). This dizzy odyssey has been documented in the exhibition ‘Times & Places’ – a selection of photos and video procured from these rapturous years that will be housed at the Book Club until 25th June. This Thursday’s launch sees the great man take to the decks for an exclusive set to launch his new solo album. / Alex Goddard
