Goddamn but this is one busy dude. Since his last album – the stupendous orchestral/hip-hop mash-up that was The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales – the man himself has collaborated with the likes of Drake, played a classical concert or two and even appears on that 2013′s most-wanted release, the new Daft Punk. So what’s he doing here in London at the Cadogan Hall? Something completely different obviously. After holing up for ten days in Paris’s Studio Pigalle he’s come up with the follow up to 2004′s beautiful Solo Piano. Stark, pretty and inventive, this should be Gonzales at his most laid back.
