The scientific method has pretty much become sacred liturgy for the 21st century, so it’s hardly surprising that the creative souls of our time should find such endless inspiration in the dark underbelly of pseudo-science. The bright sparks at Penned in the Margins & Mercy have got together to bring you a new show of experimental literature, performance and music inspired by Konstantin Raudive’s ‘Breakthrough’ experiments of the 1970s, where voices from “the beyond” were captured via the magic of electronic noise. With Hannah Silva, Ross Sutherland, SJ Fowler and Outfit rocking the stage, we’re pretty sure you’ll leave a believer too. / Crystal Bennes
