Spending the festive season having to say no to every mince pie you’re offered really sucks. What is the point of Christmas if you can’t eat like you’re about to hibernate till Spring? Plus, don’t you always end up feeling so awkward/tragic at your family meal when you have your single serve gluten/dairy/sugar-free Christmas pudding for one? Fear not as the Free From Festival is here to ensure you get your share of treats. This Saturday and Sunday, East London’s Oval Space will be filled with stalls by the likes of Romeo’s, Nuuk and Paradise Unbakery who’ll have a tempting array of goods on offer, including sugar-free chocolate tasting, gluten-free desserts and savoury snacks. Make sure you bring loads of cash as this is a 100% cash-only event and it would be pure torture to be surrounded by food you could actually eat but not be able to buy. Nightmare.
