Norwich-based theatre pioneers Curious Directive present the supernatural coming-of-age VR thriller Frogman.Set in The Great Barrier Reef in 1995, the hour-long play merges live theatre and Virtual Reality to tell the story of a missing girl, both in the past and present day. Structured as a court hearing, the audience is cast as the jury in a gradually unfolding a tale of death and deception, submerged in a blend of youthful nostalgia with a dark sense of haunting unease.
This boldly ambitious production was the must-see show at the Edinburgh festival last year it has been re-worked for the Shoreditch Town Hall.
