Buns & Buns – of Miami fame and more recently located in Canary Wharf with a Deliveroo-only service – are setting up shop in Covent Garden, with doors opening on Thursday. To celebrate, they’re offering lobster rolls – for nada – from 6pm onwards on the 15th. The only catch? Diners must also order a main course. But that shouldn’t be an issue with the array of delights on offer. The brainchild of Alexandre Zibicreate, he puts a creative take on the world’s best breads, including bao buns filled with shiitake mushroom or bourbon pork belly, blackened poulet roti, mussels in white wine with sourdough for mopping and seasonal doughnuts. Pick dishes from the dim sum trolley or order direct from the menu, then enjoy crustaceans on the house.
