Spring has finally graced London with its presence, and you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s been a bit Arctic lately. The thing is we’re far, far removed from this remote, yet vulnerable region of our fragile planet. Saturday marks the International “I ♥ the Arctic” day of action, and Greenpeace is bringing the beauty of the frozen landscape to London with an open-air, 4D experience. Giant polar bears and other wonders will be projected onto Friends House, near Euston station, in a breath-taking display that will bring to life a place most of us will never experience, but affects us all. This is more than just a show, and you can make a difference. Stand up against the exploitation of this critical part of our planet, as pictures, films and messages from this event, and others like it around the world, will be delivered to the Arctic Council in May.
