Some days it feels like you’ve fallen asleep in front of a US rerun of The Apprentice and had this epic cheese dream where Donald Trump has become president and is still using Twitter to throw childish tantrums like he doesn’t realise he is one of the most powerful people in the world. Oh, the LOLs!…. Ok, so the world right now is pretty bleak and on the day that w%@#ker is inaugurated the only thing you can do (aside from getting really angry, getting off the internet and rising up against those who spread hatred and create fear) is laugh. What better place to do it than with a bunch of like-minded folk and some actual comedians at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell? Headlined by Kyle Wallace and Suzi Wild, the lovely guys at People Together are putting on a free comedy night where they’ll be helping you chuckle through the pain whilst rattling buckets to raise money for Stop Hate UK, a great charity that supports victims of hate crime. It’s a win+win really.
