Ah May Day. International festival of workers’ rights, shivering in London’s parks pretending it’s summer and… sheep shearing? Well only at the Stepney City Farm May Day Festival. One of our favourite places in east London the Stepney City Farm is having a bit of a shindig during the day, featuring a craft market, traditional music and dancing and local food. It’s also – aww – two of the farm’s donkeys’ birthdays so you might want to bring along a carrot or two in lieu of a birthday present. All good clean fun.
