I love a bit of life drawing. There’s a general timeline to classes though: rubbing out pretty much every hesitant line, flipping the paper over to start again, questioning how any human foot can really have TEN toes, until finally you realise aspirations to capture an anatomically correct figure on paper is not really possible, you relax and and it turns into something loose and brilliant. Well Neon Naked Life Drawing sessions screw with that timeline, perfectionism is out and glorious, saturated colour is in! Even better, neon colour. It’s time to dive into your box of crayons, grab at the felt tip pack and maybe nab a few highlighters from work because the glowing life models at these sessions are splashed with reactive body paints and draped with UV lights. Now, who doesn’t wanna make paper dance with drenched neon brilliance?
