Reopened last year by Sir David Attenborough himself, Woodberry Wetlands is a nature reserve and urban oasis for wildlife (and people) in Hackney. This Saturday it’s home to a Drawing and Printmaking Workshop.
Lead by London-based artist and founder of Wild Life Drawing; Jennie Webber, the workshop will take place both in the studio and outdoors. The day will kick off by exploring the Wetlands to gather the likes of bark, flowers and feathers to inspire illustrative pattern designs.
Attendees will then learn techniques in observational drawing and mark-making in order to create their own lino print to take home. No experience necessary and drawing materials are provided – all you need is a passion for nature. A wholesome, relaxing Saturday plan.
