Together animator/comedian Michael Julings and theatre maker Marion Burge bring us a smashing evening of performance. They bash together a mix of established acts and fresh talent from the worlds of theatre, comedy, performance art and cabaret. Then smash a piñata at the end (obvs).
This is Piñata’s first show in their new venue south of the river, but expect the same mix of explosive, immersive fun from their successful Shoreditch shows last year. The line up includes Funny Women 2016 winner Harriet Braine, whimsical musical trio Rasputin’s Lunchbox and a host of other performers. Plus there’s a film screening, house band, games, drawing, balloons, and of course the smashing a large papier mâché object with a stick. Go get entertained.
