With creative industries increasingly run on ever-tightening shoestrings, it’s important that we work together as much as possible. For that reason arts collectives BeautifulMess and The Change Collective are creating a space to gather, celebrate and eulogise the public services we still have, design radical acts of resilience and plot future acts of creative resistance. Which isn’t what you usually get up to on a Sunday is it? They’ll be taking a creative look at what people can all do to imaginatively engage with the election on the 8th June, without being specifically aligned to any one party through a series of talks, workshops and group activities throughout the afternoon and rounding the day off with political bingo, cocktails and a bunch of dancing to good tunes.
