In light of the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the MV Empire Windrush (22 June 1948), a panel of descendants of its passengers gather to discuss their experiences and that of their ancestors.

Award-winning journalist Charlie Brinkhurst-Cuff – who has just released a book of real-life Windrush stories with contributions from Corinne Bailey-Rae, David Lammy and Lenny Henry – will chair a panel made up of Dazed writer Kemi Alemoru, lecturer Sharon Frazer-Carroll and make-up artist Kay Montano. It’s all part of an effort to regain control of the narrative surrounding Windrush – celebrating stories that were never told.
