Simon Davies

Hey Simon Davies, how the hell are you?
All the better for seeing you.

Awww. Whatcha dooooooiiiiiin’?
Hanging out at my friend Pete’s office. Sitting at Pete’s desk in fact. He’s away. I always sit at Pete’s desk when he’s away. Waiting. A bit like the little dog in Memphis Belle, but taller with marginally less hair.

Woof. You’re not just handy with a pen for drawing are you? You’re also scribing some shit aren’t you? What are you currently writing?
If I know me it’ll be the exciting beginning of a script. I’ve got quite a few of those. My hope is to more regularly expand into equally exciting middle bits and endings. If nothing else it would be nice to know how these damn stories finish.

The first thing to benefit from this completist way of working is a live action adventure for 6 – 12-year-olds in which life, our history, the universe and everything is placed in the gravest of peril. The children face danger, mystery and untold excitement before (spoiler) they win the day. Better still they’ll have no idea that they’re about to be called on to save the world until it happens; we’ll be turning a normal day into an unforgettable adventure.

Basically if you’re not a 6 – 12 year old in 2015 you might regret it. Take action while you can.

Have you ever played the game Porcheesey? What are the rules? How does it work? Can anyone play?
Absolutely anyone can play. It actually works on an opt out basis. The fact is, unless you’ve said otherwise you’re already playing and I’m sorry to say you’re not doing very well.

Where can we see more of your work?
I keep most of it at home. I plan to put it all online. Sorry. Until then you’re welcome to come around.
