Just a stone’s thrown away from the iconic Abbey Road Studios and snuggly nestled down a leafy suburban street sits the centuries old Clifton pub. Brought back to life by brothers Ben & Ed Robson after standing empty since 2013, the rejuvenated premises has a warm and inviting feel. Both brothers and staff will make you feel at home as the delicious house brew Clifton larger and Clifton homemade sodas are served up beneath a bright and airy conservatory. The truffle mac n cheese croquettes are a delicious starter and the line caught cod with a moreish cauliflower puree is top end. Finishing up with an eton mess and caramel brownie, you could feel the ghosts of Edward the VII and his mistress Lillie Langtry looking on with royal approval. Marvellous stuff.
