This is one of the more unusual shops in the area. Owner Hassan Hajjaj is something of a local legend, taking fabrics, packaging and souvenirs from his native Morocco and transforming them into multi-coloured artworks. These pieces, and his eye-popping Marrakesh photographic portraits, have been shown in venues as well-known as the V&A and the British Museum. Opening hours are, shall we say, varied, but if Hassan is in he’s usually up for a coffee and a chat. (photo credit: http://www.ecomotion-lauradaza.com/)
