It may not be the best weather in our fair city at the moment for hanging outside but I have found just the spot. Overlooking Somerset House and with the best panoramic view of the river I’ve seen this swanky bar provides blankets, heaters and sheltered Cabanas for you to huddle in while drinking delicious cocktails. It’s housed in the Marconi building where the first BBC radio signals were broadcast in 1922 but these days the DJs will be broadcasting more up to date tunes with the likes of Sam Young spinning regularly. The drinks are delicious, my favourite was the London Horizon with Gin, Lemongrass and green tea cordial for its refreshing zing. It’ll be amazing in the Summer of course but by then it will also be packed and no longer a secret.
