This friendly two-floor gallery space on a tree lined street near the British Museum is a favourite with the Bloomsbury crowd. Emerging artists are given a platform here and Store Street Gallery’s wide-ranging shows of contemporary art from the UK and Europe. Shows are a bold mix of painting, sculpture and installations – all of which you can snap up for a reasonable price if you’re looking for a sharp investment.  A great, laidback art space to inject you with some memorable culture. / Laura Mannering
