Our favourite Michelin-Starred dim sum spot in London opened in the City some time back and admittedly it took us a while to get down. But once we did we were very very stoked. Expect the same high quality and innovative dim sum dishes of the famed Soho eatery, but in an elevated setting, wrapped around and looking down upon Broadgate Circus. Adding to the fun is the seasonal Tanqueray Tea Garden Terrace, a lush little enclave touting a bespoke selection of gin and Chinese tea infused cocktails. We paired our gin n’ Puer Ya Jian with some new found favourites: venison puffs and prawn/beancurd cheung fan; and of course some classics: shui mai, steamed lotus leaf sticky rice and har gau, yum. Service is impeccable as is to be expected and the patisserie downstairs allows you to bring some sweet goods home. They’ve also just dropped a to-die-for ice cream macaron collection that’ll provide a delectable respite from this heat.
